Dr. Loai is a Consultant and head of pediatric nephrology department at Dubai Hospital. He is part of the medical team that provides DHA Pediatric Nephrology services - extending these services to the Northern Emirates as well.
Dr. Eid has done pediatric residency in The Brooklyn Hospital Center/ Weill Cornell Medical College, New York and obtained the American Board of Pediatrics in 2010. He completed his fellowship in Pediatric Nephrology from the Children's National Medical Center, George Washington University, Washington DC in 2013, and obtained certification from the American board of Pediatrics Nephrology in 2014. Additionally, he obtained Master of Science in Health Science (MSHS) - Clinical & Translational Research - from George Washington University in 2013.
He is serving as a lecturer and examiner at Dubai Medical College; he is adjunct Instructor in Pediatrics at The George Washington University.
He has published articles in well-known International journals. He has participated in several national and international conferences in both posters and presentations. Among others, he is a member of the International Pediatric Transplant Association, International Pediatric Nephrology Association, the American Society of Pediatric Nephrology and the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Mona Alrukhaimi is Professor of Medicine at Dubai Medical College, United Arab Emirates, Consultant physician & Nephrologist and Director of Alrukhaimi Polyclinic and Ex-Head of Medical and Renal Department, Dubai Hospital.
She is the current President of the Emirates Medical Association Nephrology Society, ISN Council (2011-2017), chair of ISN-GO Middle East Committee, and the leader of the KDIGO Implementation Task Force for the Middle East & African Regions. She is a Member of the Governing Board of the Arab Society of Nephrology & Renal Transplantation. She is the first female Nephrologist and Internist in UAE. Graduated from the University of Kuwait in 1983 and subsequently received her MRCP (UK) in 1989, FRCP Edinburg - 2001 and FRCP London - 2005
Dr. Alrukhaimi has actively organized World Kidney Day activities in the UAE since 2006 and the past five rounds of the ISN Update Course in Nephrology. She played an active role in the Declaration of Istanbul on Organ Trafficking and Transplant Tourism and continues to be an active member of its custodian group. She is a member of the Steering Committee for Women in Transplantation under TTS. She is regular Examiner at the Royal College of Physician of UK.
Dr. Abouchacra is a graduate of University of Toronto and has board certification from the Royal College of Physicians of Canada in Internal Medicine and Nephrology as well as American Boards certification in both. She also completed 2-year Clinical Research Fellowship sponsored by the National Kidney Foundation of Canada which served as thesis for Masters in Science (MSc) at Institute of Medical Sciences, University of Toronto, Canada.
Dr. Abouchacra is an active membership of Royal College of Physicians of Canada and College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and is a fellow of the American Society of Nephrology (FASN). She is also an affiliate member of the American Heart Association's "Kidney Council", member of the American Society of Nephrology as well as Emirates Medical Association of Nephrology.
She has extensive clinical experience in nephrology & internal medicine and has served as Chairperson of Nephrology Department at Tawam Hospital-JHMI. Currently she holds the title of Director of Outpatient services and is also the Chairperson for SEHA Urology & Kidney Disease Service Line Council. Dr Abouchacra is an Adjunct Clinical Professor at Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FMHS) Al Ain, UAE and had previously served as the Chairperson of Academic Affairs Department at Tawam Hospital-JHMI. She is actively participates in teaching as well as research activities with numerous publications and scientific projects in peer reviewed journals.

Dr. Zafer is a graduate of Damascus University Medical School in 1988. Dr. Zafer traveled to USA in 1989 where worked as a research associate at Henry Ford Hospital, Michigan, USA and he performed an externship in Internal medicine at Wayne State University, Michigan, USA. He obtained ECFMG Certificate, Philadelphia, USA in 1991
He completed three years internship and residency training in internal medicine at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Michigan, USA in 1994 and fellowship in Nephrology and Hypertension at Henry Ford Hospital, Michigan, USA in 1996.
Dr. Zafer has been practicing Nephrology since 1996. He joined a group of Nephrologists in Southeast Michigan covering several dialysis units with over seven hundred Hemodialysis patients and one hundred peritoneal dialysis patients and covering several hospitals for inpatient consultations including critical care Nephrology cases and CRRT.
Dr. Zafer was trained in Interventional Nephrology and in 2002 he obtained a certification in Interventional Nephrology by RMS lifeline and American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology. He performed over 3500 endovascular procedures for Hemodialysis vascular access including thrombectomy of AV fistula and graft, Fistulogram with Angioplasty and Stent placement for venous stenosis, Tunneled dialysis catheter insertion and exchange with obliteration of fibrin sheath. Dr. Zafer has been practicing Nephrology for the last five years in Dubai, UAE.
Dr. Zafer's interests include hemodialysis vascular access related problems, Adequacy of Hemodialysis treatment, CKD-mineral bone disease and Critical Care Nephrology.
Dr. Zafer has several presentations and publications and he lectured in several Nephrology Conferences.
Dr. Zafer has served as the head of Nephrology Department at Al-Salam Specialty Hospital, Damascus and Saudi German Hospital, Dubai. He also served as the medical director of several dialysis units.
Dr. Zafer is a member of the American Society of Nephrology and several other Nephrology societies.
Dr. Zafer is an American board certified in internal medicine and Nephrology. He has recently passed the American Board of Internal Medicine Re-certification Examination in Nephrology and he is participating in maintenance of certification MOC for the American Board of Internal Medicine.
